Your Trusted Skin Peels Clinic and Dermarollers in Bristol
Skin peels work by harnessing the power of naturally occurring fruit acids and enzymes to deeply exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. The treatment stimulates new cell growth and collagen production, helping to reveal fresher, clearer, brighter skin. At our Beauty Box Coldharbour Road we offer a variety of industry leading chemical peels that effectively remove the top layer of dead skin cells and encourage skin to grow, revealing a softer, smoother complexion.
A chemical peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. Chemical peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin. To accomplish this task, the chosen peel solution induces a controlled injury to the skin. Resulting in wound healing processes begin to regenerate new tissues. The dead skin eventually peels off, allowing the complete removal of dirt, skin debris, skin oil and makeup. The regenerated skin appeared smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin while acne scarring, melasma and depigmentation improve.
We currently provide two groups of chemical peels which can be tailored to your special needs:
1. Superficial chemical peels: Indicated for the treatment of fine wrinkles, areas of dryness, uneven pigmentation and acne.
2. Medium chemical peels: Indicated for tired-looking ageing skin, sunspots and more deep acne scarring.
Dermaroller helps to rejuvenate the skin leaving it looking healthier and younger. It can be used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and acne scarring.
How does the treatment work?
We uses titanium Dermarollers to carry out micro needling of the skin. The dermaroller is used to create thousands of punctures within the skin. These punctures encourage the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally and safely. This helps with the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, creating plumper and firmer skin whilst also reducing the appearance of acne scars.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How is the treatment carried out? After the skin is cleaned of make up products and impurities, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin to help numb it. This is then left on the skin for 30 minutes and makes the procedure more comfortable. The dermaroller is then rolled onto the skin in 4 different directions. After the procedure is completed an aftercare cream is applied and massaged into the skin. A mask is then applied which helps to soothe the skin. Finally an SPF cream is applied to the skin and it is advised that the SPF cream is applied every day for 2 weeks following the procedure.
