Waxing

Our salons are gimmick free. No chocolate or hazelnut wax, because quite frankly we do not care what the wax tastes like and we suspect that neither do you, as long as it pulls out the hair in the most painless, safe manner. In fact, in keeping with our less-is-more ethos, we actually prefer to use hypo-allergenic and fragrance free wax where possible, which is ideal for most clients, especially those with sensitive skin.

For intimate this means Perron Rigots revolutionary Euroblonde hot wax. A non-strip wax, which means that it is removed without the use of paper strips, Euroblonde is Perron Rigots signature wax which took the waxing world by storm when it was first launched and which continues to set the bar. As Euroblonde wax sets, it shrink-wraps the hairs providing excellent grip for the removal of even the coarsest, toughest and shortest hairs.

For body waxing, we generally use honey wax in a roller system. Its hypo-allergenic, special formula uses synthetic resin and is rosin- and fragrance-free. It is suitable for even the most sensitive types of skin including those people with an allergy to sticking plasters.

Brazilian and Hollywood waxing is our forte! You ask for a Brazilian and this is what you will get! Leave a strip at the top (as thick or as thin as you like) or we can even leave more of a triangular shape! Absolutely all hair is removed from underneath and right round the back. You will be left silky smooth and ready to be seen in your birthday suit!

In order to keep your lovely new Brazilian in tip top shape, we recommend coming to see us every 4-5 weeks and if you have a preferred therapist, make sure to let us know at the time of booking although all of Beauty Box girlies are trained up to exactly the same Fantastic standard!.

Hollywood waxing leaves nothing to the imagination! Absolutely everything is removed from front right to the back. Whether this is your first “all off” bikini wax or your are a regular our experienced team have seen it all before and will put you at ease.

You are required to remove your underwear for both these treatments. We know this is an intimate area so if you have a prefered therapist please make sure to mention your choice when you contact us.

We have been performing intimate bikini waxing for over 10 years. We have seen it all before so please don’t feel embarrassed!!

You will have 5 minutes on your own to prepare for your wax, in this time you will be asked to change and we provide wet wipes for you to freshen up, so don’t worry if you have to come from work! Although we prefer it if you are comfortable to wear no underwear during the process, we can provide you with disposable underwear if you wish so. A lollipop is also included with all our intimate waxing to sooth away any uncomfortable moments.

During your wax you will be asked to hold your skin or legs in certain positions. Please note that clients are NOT required to assume positions such as on all fours in order to wax the hard to reach areas. We perform all waxing from a lying down position for minimum embarrassed and maximum comfort!

Once complete will be left in privacy  to thoroughly check that everything is ok, if there is a problem we will happily rectify it. We apply plenty of soothing oil/ lotion to coo down and get changed back.
