Skin Peels by Dermaquest 40% Glycolic Peel

This glycolic acid resurfacing treatment is a great introduction to DermaQuest treatments and addresses a wide range of skin concerns.

Benefits of a glycolic peel:

This particular glycolic peel, also uses Stem Cell technology so whilst you will get some tingling, Lilac Leaf (stem cell) will soothe the skin as well. Stem cells are involved in growth and repair, so as well as all the other benefits you get from Glycolic acid, you also get healing and protecting.

Over time this treatment will strengthen delicate skin and increase healing and rejuvenate.

The treatment

Skin MUST be prepped with Dermaquest products for 2-4 weeks before you can start a course of treatment.

Skin is cleansed and primed thoroughly before a resurfacing balm is applied to your brows, corners of the eye and lips.

The Glycolic treatment is applied to the skin and left on for up to ten minutes, during this time you will feel a mild tingling sensation for 2-3 minutes.

Glycolic is removed and neutralized and once cooled, the appropriate post resurfacer products are applied.

There is no downtime to this treatment and mineral makeup can be applied if you are going somewhere afterwards.
