Things to know

Tanning

We highly recommend clients do a full body exfoliation 24 hours before their tanning appointment. On the day please avoid using any oily products and wear loose clothing when coming for your treatment.

Patch Tests

We require patch tests to be carried out up to 48 hrs before some of our treatments that involve tint or products near the eye. Patch testing is required for eyebrow/eyelash tint, HD brows, LVL Lash Lift, HD Brow lift and Semi-permanent make up.

Bookings, Cancellations and Changes

The following terms apply to all appointments made from Monday to Saturday.

We would charge 50% of the booking amount for all treatments

At least 24 hours notice is requested if you need to cancel or change your appointment; otherwise, the late cancellation costs as laid out below will be charged.

Cancellation or change of treatment times within 24 hours of your booking will incur a charge of 50% of the full treatment value.

If part of a booking is cancelled or changed after arrival, the full cost of the treatment(s) as booked will remain payable upon departure.

As we are unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, guests are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made with the salon (verbal or written) forms a legally binding contract.

Group Bookings

Applies to couple or group bookings: A minimum of 72 hours notice is required for cancellations or changes to appointments otherwise the charges outlined in bookings, changes and cancellations will apply.

Mobile Phones

The Management request that all mobile phones be turned off or placed on silent whilst in the spa to ensure a relaxed atmosphere and to ensure that others are not disturbed during quiet treatments.

Late arrival for treatments

Please note that if guests arrive late for an appointment the treatment time will be shortened to ensure subsequent treatments run on time. The full price of the treatment will be charged.

Children

With regret due to health and safety regulations, please consider making other arrangements for your children when you come for your treatment.  A salon is not the safest place for a child, since hot tools, very sharp objects, and chemicals are in regular use.  Our therapists are unable to carry out your treatment if they also need to keep an eye on child safety.  We as a salon want to ensure that both you and our other clients receive a relaxing treatment.  Therefore, if on arrival at salon for treatment, you have children with you, your treatment will be cancelled and a cancellation fee will be charged as per our T&Cs. We thank you for your support and understanding in this matter

Waxing advice

Before Waxing Advice
  • Your hair should be the ideal length for waxing to work and to minimise any discomfort, leave it to grow 3 weeks before your wax appointment with us.
  • Exfoliating is recommended 3 times a week especially before waxing treatment.
  • Do not moisturise on the day of your appointment.
  • Let your wax technician know if you are taking any medication that can affect your waxing results, such as blood thinners, Retin-A or Accutane (or similar products).
  • Wear loose fitting clothes
  • Take a warm shower before waxing. This will help to open the pore for easy hair removal; you will be given wipes to freshen up with anyway.
  • You can be waxed during your period, although you may be a little more sensitive and a waxing could be more painful.
  • Relax during your waxing service, because tense muscles make the area more sensitive
After Waxing Advice
  • Avoid all heat treatments including sunbathing, sun beds, steam baths and saunas.

Avoid swimming in public pools as chlorine may irritate the area that has been waxed.

Do not apply perfumed soap, body lotion, talcum powder or deodorant to the treated areas.

Use only lukewarm water for a bath or shower.

Do not apply make-up to any treated area.

Try to avoid touching skin that has been waxed.

    Wear loose-fitting clothes.

After waxing use any lotion in the first 24 hours.

Start to exfoliate and moisturise your skin 48 hours after you had the treatment done to prevent ingrowing hairs.

Use antiseptic cream on facial areas until redness subsides.
